We are looking for a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our highly successful caseworker team. You will report to the Advice Service Manager and provide ongoing advice and casework to support our generalist advice service.
You will manage a caseload, assisting clients to access their entitlements to welfare benefits, deal with their debts and resolve housing issues.
You will be responsible for the running of the project including managing a caseload of clients, reporting, and promoting the service to staff and volunteers.
You will have a good knowledge and an understanding of advice giving in the key areas and the ability to support clients in a sensitive but empowering way. You will also have strong IT skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively face-to-face, in writing and over the phone.
