Help to Claim service goes live
02 Apr 2019
Do you have a mental health condition or problem? At Citizens Advice Guildford we are pleased to offer a specialist advice service for anyone who lives within the Guildford Borough area and is between the age of 18 and 64 years old whose mental health issues prevent them from being able to access the mainstream advice service.
Our Community Mental Health Project is able to provide a responsive service in terms of the frequency and length of appointment. Appointments are at our Haydon Place office with a specialist adviser and cover all advice areas. To use this service you do not need to be in secondary care or connected with any formal mental health service and you can self-refer or be referred from support services. Referrals and appointments for this service can be made by email: adviceline@guildfordcab.org.uk. This project is funded by Guildford Borough Council.
We also have an Outreach Mental Health Project that is only open to clients who are in secondary care and connected to Guildford and Waverley CMHRS. Appointments for this service take place at Berkley House in Godalming and at Farnham Road Hospital in Guildford and are by referral only through the reception teams at each location. This project is funded by North East Hampshire and Farnham Clinical Commissioning Group and Guildford and Waverley Clinical Commissioning Group.
