We are looking for a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude to join us in this role. You will report to the Advice Services Manager and be a key member of the Advice Services Team. In collaboration with the other supervisors, you will manage the day-to-day work of our team of volunteers to ensure that we deliver high quality advice to our clients.
You will have a minimum of 2 years advice experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate people. You will complement this with strong IT skills and ability to analyse and interpret information.
Although previous experience of supervising volunteers would be preferable, we are very happy to train the right person. Therefore this job may also suit a volunteer Adviser looking for paid work, or a paid Adviser wanting to progress to their first supervisor role.
The Citizens Advice service values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We encourage and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people, as they are currently under represented in our workforce.
You can find out more information about the role in the job pack. If you would like to apply please complete the application form and diversity monitoring form. The closing date for applications is 10am on Monday 18 October 2021.
