£14,898 – £16,419 actual (£24,500 – £27,000 FTE)
Based in Guildford (Due to the ongoing pandemic some flexibility around location of work may be required, such as some home working, but it is expected that you will be within a commutable distance of the advertised role location)
At Citizens Advice Guildford we are passionate about training and developing our staff and volunteers, equipping them to provide the highest quality service to our clients. We are looking for an experienced trainer with a ‘can do’ attitude to develop, plan, and deliver a comprehensive training programme across our service.
Reporting to our Advice Service Manager and working closely with our Admin Assistant and Advice Session Supervisors, you’ll also help recruit and induct volunteers from diverse backgrounds and support our trainees in advice sessions.
You will be an excellent communicator, have the ability to deliver creative, engaging and inclusive training in a variety of learning styles, for both groups and individuals. You will also be able to coach and mentor both staff and volunteers to reach their potential and achieve their learning goals.
We are looking for someone who thrives on innovation and can support others through change, increasing the channels through which clients can access us. We would love to hear your ideas and learn from your experience of supporting volunteers to upskill and try new things, while maintaining excellent quality.
